Training Photos

Story Horse Farm provides top notch instruction for riders and horses of all levels. Our program focuses on helping each rider meet his or her goals in a safe, fun, and friendly environment. Riders of all levels call SHF home; from beginners to regional level champions. Trainers Darcy Workman, Kristi Nyquist, Kalyssa Meade and Caroline Bixler are able to tailor their training to each individual's needs. Whether your needs are for a once in a while lesson to participating in our very busy show schedule that, beginning this year, spans the globe - we have a place for everyone. Fully believing in continuing education, SHF host clinics at the farm in addition to traveling to learn with the world's best riders and trainers. Southern Ink

Southern Ink (Inky) is a 2010 15.2hh Holsteiner gelding by Southern Pride. Shown in the 1.0m jumpers. Schooling 1.20m. Big stride, excellent jump. Easy on the ground, flats beautifully. Priced in low five figures.

Just Star

Just Star (Calvin) is a 2014 16,1h Dutch Warmblood gelding. He is out of Big Star lines by a Carthago dam. Calvin was imported in May of 2020. He is currently schooling 1.20-1.30m and showing in the 1.10m. Calvin is a quiet but forward ride with a lovely uphill canter. He is safe, sane and jumps anything in front of him. Beautiful changes. Coming along nicely in his lateral flat work. Calvin will be ready for the 1.20m by the end of the fall and would be suited for an amateur or a junior. Priced in mid 5 figs.

Kjenta JS

Kjenta JS (Lily) is a 17.1hh 2010 Belgian Warmblood mare. Thunder Van De Zhuuthove x Libero H. She was imported May 2018 and has been showing in 1.25m jumpers up to Regional Grand Prixs as well as Big Eq. Would make a fantastic High Jr/Am jumper. Excellent bloodlines, incredibly sweet and takes care of her rider. Priced in 6 figs.
